Business Development Representative
We are looking for a self-starting BDR who has a hunter mentality and is willing to dig in to find ways to get meetings for our new business Sales team.

To continue accelerating our rapid growth, we are looking to expand our global sales team with an experienced and passionate Business Development Representative (BDR).
The BDR will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, qualifying leads, building relationships with prospective clients, adapting to market trends, and funnelling qualified prospects into the sales pipeline. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience prospecting, developing leads from marketing campaigns, and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential customers from first contact until the sales team closes the deal. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Study each product offered by the company and be able to persuasively educate and inform prospective customers of how each works and their benefits
- Learn our buyer personas and the needs/pain points of our target market
- Research target demographics, economic trends, customer needs and interests, and other data that can be used in creating strategies for business development
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, messaging, and emailing to identify potential business prospects and assist sales executives in acquiring new customers
- Use social selling techniques to attract and source leads
- Write and adapt email scripts and outreach sequences
- Understand and identify potential customer needs to present accurate recommendations and solutions that help the target account identify a need for the product
- Update and keep detailed notes in our CRM (i.e. HubSpot)
- Brainstorm and execute new strategies to attract our target market
- Work together with Sales Executives to establish and share prospecting techniques that are effective
- Use various prospecting tools and software (i.e. Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience addressing executive and senior-level stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Experience researching new and existing markets to create a pipeline of potential leads
- Ability to research and understand complex organizations to identify the right contacts
- Proficient with CRM and sales prospecting software
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Strong time management and analytical skills
