Becca Hairfield - Employee Spotlight
Becca Hairfield is a project manager and part of Celebrus’ Professional Services team. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Becca has been with the company for more than four years.
Celebrus caught up with Becca to hear more about her position, get her take on company culture, and learn what “the best of both worlds” means to her.
Why’d you join Celebrus? What’s your favorite part about working here?
Becca: I was looking for a job in a new, exciting field, and Celebrus’ small company feel was hugely appealing. There are three important factors I always look for in a job: transparency (company goals, performance, direction on a detailed level), flexibility, and organization. Celebrus excels at all three!
Tell us about your role. What do you do?
Becca: As a project manager on the Professional Services team, I manage Celebrus implementations for US clients. This includes basic Celebrus deployments, customized configurations, mobile deployments, Celebrus Workbook deployments, support contracts, and whatever we come up with next! I work with different teams to efficiently deliver projects, and I work closely with the US Customer Success manager to ensure we set our clients up for a seamless transition into managing the product and engaging with us in the future.
How would you describe company culture? What makes it unique?
Becca: Celebrus does well at being a contradiction. While we’re rapidly expanding, we’re still maintaining solid, invested relationships with our clients. We’re delivering quickly and efficiently, yet we’re still conducting thorough analysis and testing throughout the course of a project. And while we’re a widespread company, we’re tightly integrated over many time zones. To sum it up, our company culture is the best of both worlds.
What excites you most about Celebrus?
Becca: The best part about working here is the excitement that clients have when they learn what Celebrus does and can do for their company. Managing projects for a product that people are eager to explore is very satisfying.
Let’s learn more about you. If you could travel anywhere for a spontaneous vacation, where would it be and why?
Becca: Emerald Isle, North Carolina. It’s a beach that’s managed to stay less developed and less populated than surrounding beaches. I visit every summer and could stay there forever.
Describe a random object sitting on your desk. What’s its story?
Becca: In the Cary office, it’s my Lego UVA basketball player (in case Rich needs reminding of the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Champions!). In my home office, it’s my cat named Puddin’.
Tell us something people might not know about you.
Becca: I’m a BIG horror fan! Books, movies — I absolutely can’t control myself in a local bookstore.
